Brittany Douthwright

Hi my name is Brittany. I am a third year student at St. Thomas University, and I am studying to become a journalist. I am truly dedicated to writing for a cause, and I like to focus my stories on issues I feel, need the most public attention.

I believe the first step to adress an issue in a community or abroad, is to capture people’s attention to the subject matter, whether it be through writing or pictures. This at the least encourages people to think about what they are reading or seeing.

Finally, I am very excited to start my career, and move forward with my dreams of making this world a better place with my journalism skills.
